D.O. Test Kit Training Lab

This lesson is designed to train an entire class or small group of students to accurately use a LaMotte Dissolved Oxygen test kit. Students are introduced to the concept of dissolved oxygen and the factors that influence the amount of D.O. in an aquatic environment.

1. Physical factors of an ecosystem affect the type and diversity of organisms found in the system.

2. Plants and animals have a more limited capacity than humans to adapt; thus, their environment must fit their needs.
