1. First Assembly, the Chiller behind the Aquarium. (1276) In this example, the chiller is placed approximately two feet behind the aquarium.
2. (1279) Note that this set-up is ideal in that the flex-line is not twisted at anytime during the assembly.
3. Second Assembly (1280). In this example, the chiller is placed on a small stand below the Aquarium.
4. (1281) The cooling-coil, when untied, in this example, is carefully raised to the edge of the aquarium.
5. (1283) The coil is, then, placed inside the aquarium and no twist is made in the flexible line. (Note that the table and the complete assembly can then be moved to the rear wall if required).
6. Third Assembly. (1296, 1297) In this example, the chiller is placed below the aquarium on the floor, and the assembly is accomplished before water and rocks are added to the aquarium.
7. (1298) Note that the coil is slowly turned and moved to the aquarium, while the aquarium is tilted towards the coil. (1300) The assembly is now complete, and there is little or no twisting in the wrapped flexible-line to the coils. (Note that the table and the complete assembly can then be moved to the rear wall if required).
8. Fourth Assembly (1289) The chiller is placed along-side the aquarium. With this set-up, the flexible-line is given an undesirable twist. And, themore the chiller is moved to the front, out-of-line with the chiller, the more the flexible-line becomes twisted
9. (1291) You can see that the coil, because of the twisting, wants to move forward inside the aquarium... not the best option.
10. (1292) In this example, the Aquarium is moved 90 degrees to the chiller, which helps minimize the twisting of the wrapped lead.
11. Chiller Storage Box and Label. (1259). This smaller box is an adequate storage container for the chiller and secured cooling-coil assembly. It can be procured at most box suppliers.
12. Styrofoam Pads. (1264) Two Styrofoam pads (3 inches thick) fill the gap between the top of the chiller and the top of the box to allow stacking of boxes.
13. Lifting the Chiller from the Storage Box. (1265) The lifting strap and string- tied cooling coil allows for easy lifting and removing from the storage box.
14. String-Tie Cooling Coil. (1273) Two string-ties secure the coil to the Control-side of the Chiller. The coil must be secured for all movement of the chiller. Do not remove string-ties until the chiller is in a final location.
15. Lifting Strap Fastener. (1271) The lifting-strap is permanent. It does not have to be removed during unit operations. Pulling both ends of the fastener will tighten the strap.
