The Being There Module deviates from the format used in the first 3 modules of Form Follows Function, Habitat and Life Cycle. This is a necessary departure as the Being There Module provides specific lessons, activities, strategies and procedures which will make your off site field trip experience successful for ALL involved. There are 3 separate sections to the Being There Module. These 3 sections are sequential and yet integral. |

| The first two sections, "Get Ready" and "Get Set", prepare students for a successful stream site experience. "Get Ready" is content rich giving students the necessary skills and information they will need at the stream site. "Get Set" focuses on the behavior and procedures which students must possess prior to participating in an off site trip. The 3rd and final section, "GO," is lessons and activities students will participate in while on the stream site. |
